The suite Casimir Delavigne ( français )

Portfolio

This suite is named after the poet, academician of France 35 years who lived in the Madeleine December 15, 1824 to August 9, 1839. He wrote of the old school, Louis XI, Princess Aurelie children of Edward. Its suite consists of an entrance with 6 mirrored doors, a bedroom with two windows overlooking the park, a bathroom of 18 m2 with two windows overlooking the park east side and a huge tub and separate toilet. It is perfect for a couple in love. The bathroom opens into a terrace of 40 m2 and faces two giant sequoias.

The painting in the bathroom is a reproduction of a work period of the painter Paul Delaroche, a friend of Casimir. The original was exposed Louvre. This table was given to our family by the descendant of Delavigne. We thank him. If during your stay you want to inspire the poet, we have his complete works.
